Good Mariner team, everyone early (hats off to Will!).

Joel bowled beautifully and got the oppo skipper with a peach but that sadly was the highpoint of the day. Good bowling and wickets from Corkey and Tony N but a couple of dropped catches and early season ground fielding meant they got more runs than they should have.

When we batted, the bowling was very good and we never got going, regular wickets and not even brief periods of dominance. Some classy dabs from Ed late on were the highlight.

We were a little apprehensive about the Pres’ reaction but he said he saw good elements to build on (very generous assessment) so we will be doing that at Wisborough Green.

Julian Dent, Captain

SCORECARD

Awaiting scorecard.

AMCC Batting
Fernhurst Bowling
Fernhurst Batting
AMCC Bowling

(back to 2020 results)

[6
